Infinite waiting for players while everyone else is playing.

My friend started a game, and during the loading screen, he just alt-tabbed and stayed like that. Then the game crashed, and he reconnected, and the game started, but he faced a problem where he was stuck at the waiting for players stage. My friend has the full-screen resolution setting.
