Bug: Improved Burst, as of right now, only triggers with base damage AFTER reductions. It is unaffected by items such as escalating exposure or damage amps such as Lady Geist's Malice or Pockets Barrage. Soul Shredder bullets DO work however.
Example Scenario 1:
Pocket deals 190 damage with his base cape, then he gets a 40% damage amp by his barrage, pushing his damage to 266. However improved burst stays untriggered, due to the base damage being too low.
Example Scenario 2:
Paradox deals 250 damage with her carbine, triggering improved burst. Now the enemy buys spirit armor, reducing her damage after reductions to 187.5, which means that it will no longer trigger.
This makes improved burst currently almost impossible to trigger on most of the cast against Improved spirit armor. Weirdly enough there is another inconsistent interaction here: Soul shredder bullets spirit amp can help with triggering improved burst, however any other %Amp such as escalating exposure, malice or pocket barrage do NOT help to trigger the item. Which makes me think that this is a bug.
I do not know about the intended interaction of these items, since I am not a dev, however the inconsistencies should be fixed.
