I'm Eternus IV getting matched with literal phantom players

there's several Eternus games going on in EU right now, I'm Eternus IV and after short queues I just get put in phantom/ascendant lobbies it's actually infuriating. It's like the matchmaking isnt even trying to put me in decent lobbies.

I would like to know how can you tell what rank they are? Becasue I am also Eternus (fluctuting between 3-6). Sometimes it feels like i get players on my team that have never played a moba or fps ever. Then the other team has that one guy that goes 35-1 and deals 90k damage and my team just keeps running at them over and over.

I get that there isnt a lot of players at the moment but it does feel like the disparity in skill level is so incredibly wide just in eternus.

well when I'm eternus IV and the avg rank of the lobby is in low ascendant that tells me there's most likely phantom players in, I can also just tell in game by the way they're playing and itemizing and I take a look at their tracklocks and see that their entire match history is phantom games.

I dont even think it's a playerbase issue because it happens on peak hours in EU when I see multiple eternus lobbies going on in the watch tab.

Someone told me it might have to do with me being used as a filler for matches with duos or trios, so I put the prefer solo matchmaking command in, hopefully that changes anything.
