Hyper Beam goes through Time Wall

It's not a wall, it's a time wall. It slows down projectiles.

It doesn't slow down kelvin's beam, or bebop ult because those are beams, not projectiles. It does seem like they wanted time wall to be able to slow down all primary fire attacks, so they made bebops primary fire a projectile somehow behind the scenes and not a true beam.

Vindicta ult should probably be blocked by time wall, but probably doesn't right now since it's programmed as a hitscan ability and not a projectile. Are there any other hitscan type abilities that we could test with wall? The only other one I can think of is Kinetic Carbine and that doesn't really show up in a game since it would be a paradox v paradox interaction.

It looks like the description of the ability is pretty clear. Bullets and projectiles, so anything that is a primary fire, or a projectile will get slowed by wall. This does not include beams or hitscan abilities, but does include beam and hitscan primary fires since those are considered bullets.

You may not be wrong for real life purposes, but the question is about the intended behavior of time wall. The expected behavior is that ability damage beams should go through time wall, therefore this isn't a bug.

Personally I don't think it should stop it from an intuitive sense. The way I see it, it stops physical objects (projectiles and bullets) which beams wouldn't fall under. Pretty sure Yamato's sword slash goes through it as well for this very reason.

Time wall does not stop projectiles, it only slows them down for a bit. If you stand behind a time wall, you can still get damaged by bullets, just after a delay. If you treat a beam as bullets that go incredibly fast, then even a bit of slowdown is not going to make them stop at the wall.
Now, some of the grenades timing out while in the wall is an issue I'd like fixed.

I think the fact that it's see-through is enough to let you know it's not a "real" wall, like McGinnis' wall, for example. If you observe it for a second, you'll notice that the bullets do get through after a while.
Do heroes passing through it freely not clue you in?

Sure, makes sense that some things can go through it, but its unintuitive for projectiles to go through slowly, while hitscans are completely unaffected. In normal gameplay it just feels absolutely awful. Under no circumstances am I asking for "buff my favorite hero!" (isn't even favorite). Just pointing out how obviously terrible it feels to cast a wall in front of Bebop, Kelvin, Vindicta, etc, only to be shot right through it.
