How to Forced Character pick on new heroes

Check the dates and times on these matches. I have somehow figured out how to get the character pick that I want every game. I know other players are struggling to even try a new hero. Well I cracked the code. I got 4 games in a row on Mina. I thought "No way is this a fluke, lets try it with Paige". Sure enough 4 games in a row on Paige.

Unless Valve is data mining and giving some accounts bias. This is all I did

- Most players are marking all the new heros high priority. I think this is confusing the system. Don't do this
- This is what I do to play the same hero over and over again:
- Mark your new hero pick Priority 2
- Mark another new (ideally doorman, heavily contested) Priority 1
- Select 3 other non-new heroes with no priority.

Once you get a game with the hero of your choice, don't change your picks. You should keep getting them over and over again. Worked for me 8 games in a row. When I was selecting every new hero at 2x priority. I never got one game with them.

So when you say priority 2 and 1, you mean priority 2 to be two up arrows, and priority 1 to be one arrow? Or is priority 1 top priority and 2 is one above the base priority?

Great question of clarity. Priority 2 is +2 arrows and Priority 1 is +1 arrow.
After my 4 Paige matches from 2 days ago, yesterday I played 4 doorman matches in a row. Tried getting the 5th but I got my Kelvin.

It def works, but I think it has to do with how everyone is prioritizing heros right now. It is a weighted system. So most players have all the new heros priority, and likley the most popular heros as the non-new picks

By doing priority pick properly. Im guessing the system works as intended.

Not an exploit...
Ya I don't think it can be considered an exploit. It is all within the systems design. I believe it is working this way because most players are soing +2 priority to every new hero. This is confusing thr system. People should be selecting their priority pick they want to play. If every hero you select is priority, then none are really priority.

No tricks or gimmicks. Just set 1 hero to priority 2 one of them to 1 and the rest not priority.

All within their design.

Not an exploit.
