High GPU Usage & Overheating causing PC shutdown

As described in the Title. It appears during gameplay, GPU usage reaches 100%, which quickly leads to overheating and causing the PC to shut down. GPU usage remains around 22% on the menu, however usage can reach up to 70% when viewing a Hero's model within the Hero tab.

Graphics settings are as follows:


CPU: Intel i5-12600K
GPU: AMD Radeon RX XT
OS: Windows 11

First played the game on 8/29/24, however the overheating did not start until 8/30/24.

Similar problem, I don't want to run the game again until I see a patch come through. I've reinstalled multiple times and verified integrity. Just spectating a game is like 15 FPS for me right now, really chunky too.


Also viewing a hero in the hero tab probably brings up the hero model, and opening the shop seemed to make my FPS go crazy whenever I was on a line getting to lane. The buy menu opens a model of your character.

Switch to vulkan under rendering

I'm having similar issues, switching between Vulkan & DirectX didn't seem to help

Wait, high gpu usage is not normal?
2080 ti, here is fps in sandbox, in real game usage is ~80% and sometimes fps drops from 144 to 94-100 for 5-10 seconds
