police lieutenant spike is a pukwudgie whose primordial swamp was long ago paved over. he was once the mischievous guardian spirit of the swamp and its wildlife. when destroyed by humans the great protector maushop cast him from the spirit realm to the dimension where he was meant to be a protector. now serves to keep safe the creatures etching an existence out on streets built atop it. spike is the head of the massachusetts state police as an undercover agent in the occult underworld of boston. in secret however, he is a double agent of the great trickster coyote. his true goal is to return boston to nature and be able to return behind the spirit veil.
1 - veilbreak
passively your abilities and bullets gain 2x multishot and deal bonus spirit damage if they pass through cosmic veils. activate to form a cosmic veil in front of you for a duration.
2 - dreamcatcher
place a fading slow on a target enemy or a fading movement speed buff to a target ally or on self cast. reactivate to fly to the target. you are invulnerable while in flight, and full air control on self cast.
3 - porcupine familiar
spend a charge to throw a living grenade that sticks to the world. has a long arm time, once armed will run at the first enemy in range. even during the arm time will instantly lock in on the first enemy to use an ability in a much farther range. deals area damage and silences main target on impact.
4 - howling winds
conjure a storm at a target area that bombards enemies with multiple waves of homing projectiles. projectiles are spread evenly on all targets in the area, they deal damage and steal spirit power for a long duration with each hit. each hit builds up to an aoe damage burst. press 4 to center the ability on a target enemy or ally hero. hold down 4 to speed up the ability.
