Hi y'all. I make silly character concepts for myself all the time, so I thought I'd kind of flesh one out and post it here. Hope you like it <3
Character Blurb:
Hank Giordano, code name "Seagull", is a ruthless weapon-smuggling cyborg mafioso wanted by intelligence agencies worldwide. The average city dweller, though, knows him as Giggles the Clown. While his role as an infamous weapon-smuggling cyborg mafioso certainly pays the bills and his job as Giggles keeps his appearances somewhat unsuspicious, what remains a top priority to Seagull is that both gigs remain strictly part-time. Truthfully, there's nothing Hank would love more than to just drink a beer and watch the ball game. Now, if you don't mind, he's got a shipment to escort at 5, a birthday party at 6, and the Mets play at 7:30. Can we get a move on?
Design Summary:
Despite his goofy visage, Seagull is all business, and not thrilled to be here, either. I picture Seagull's appearance to be a clown superimposed onto a mobster: In addition to a blue afro, bright blue clown shoes, and the face-paint fixings, Seagull is donning a sleazy pinstripe suit. In one human hand he holds a pistol, while his other robotic hand has a high-tech blaster on its palm (reminiscent of Iron Man, maybe?). This blaster does all of his spell-casting that I imagine is some kind of water techno magic (I'm picturing something in the same flavor as the abilities of Risk of Rain's Artificer).
Gameplay Summary:
Seagull is a water-themed spell-caster. As a Geist main, I love a character who can sling abilities to dish out heavy damage, but pays the price in inherent immobility and a need to position more precisely.
Draft Character Work-Up
Graphics are courtesy of Deadmock. Numbers, while thought of with some balance in mind, are ultimately pulled from my arse, and are therefore subject to much scrutiny. Viewer discretion is advised or something like that.
Image is **AI-generated trash** for the sake of putting something there. The image generators' styles seem to be limited to Fortnite and the Joker, apparently, so I settled for this stupid 2D one.
