(There will be a character sketch later.)
Appearance: Leo is a short, stocky anthropomorphic cat with a jet-black coat. His fur is short and perpetually slightly ruffled. He has striking, bright yellow eyes that seem to glow with a sharp, intelligent light against his dark fur. Perched on his nose is a pair of old, scratched aviator sunglasses, adding a touch of rugged charm to his no-nonsense demeanor.
Story:
Leo is a classic "jack-of-all-trades" from the working-class neighborhood. He's a driver, a mechanic, a plumber, and a locksmith all rolled into one. He's not a hero or an adventurer; he's the one who fixes the consequences of those adventures.
After Melstrom, his modest car repair garage went up in flames, literally, due to a stray spark. Working at "Steel Claws" was the only way he could pay off his debts.
The consequences of Malstrom also affected construction work in the
"Cursed Apple", making it extremely dangerous: dealing with unstable magical architecture, paranormal phenomena on construction sites, and sudden portals to other dimensions.
"Steel Claws" employed individuals like him, physically strong, resilient, and stubborn enough not to flee at the sight of a monster accidentally trapped in a concrete mixer.
Leo is skeptical of the supernatural. For him, magic is primarily a violation of safety regulations and an unauthorized alteration of the environment. He prefers clear blueprints and reliable tools to any kind of spellcasting. His dream is to save enough money to open his own small repair shop and never have to deal with astral anomalies again.
Leo is not participating in the Ritual voluntarily. "Steel Claws", a subsidiary of Fairfax Industries, is required to send one of its students. Leo was "voluntarily coerced" by being promised a debt forgiveness and a substantial participation bonus. For Leo, this is a chance to receive all the money he needs for his workshop at once.
His favorite drink is the "Rust-cola", but after five cans, Leo becomes a little wild.
Gameplay:
- Basic Attack: Paper Clip Gun.
1.Building Challenge: Leo quickly builds a low fortification out of available materials.
The fortification can be used as cover.
It has a limited amount of health.
It can be upgraded with a talent: the fortification grows in size and gains spikes that deal minor damage to enemies who attack it in close combat.
2. Tire Mine: Leo throws a homemade booby trap that lands and becomes invisible to enemies for 3 seconds.
Fires when an enemy steps on or passes by it.
Deals small area damage and applies the "Puncture" effect, which slows down enemies for 5 seconds.
Can be upgraded with a talent to extend the effect for 8 seconds.
3. Emergency Repair: Leo uses his tool to repair a targeted allied structure or deal damage to an enemy structure.
Can be improved by a talent: When repairing, applies a small slowdown to surrounding enemy minions.
Ultimate. "Code Red": Leo pulls a frosty can of cola from his pocket, forcefully opens it, and chugs it down in one go.
After a brief animation, he transforms into a muscular monster for 6 seconds. ·While transformed: · His basic attacks change to powerful melee strikes that deal increased damage and slightly knock back enemies.
His movement speed increases and he gains crowd control resistance (resistance to stuns, slows, etc.).
Leo can destroy enemy structures (towers/fortifications) with one hit if they are below a certain health threshold (e.g., 15-20% max HP).
After the effect ends, Leo reverts to his normal form, spits in disgust, and suffers a minor movement speed penalty ("hangover") for a few seconds.
Ultimate Upgrade (Talent): Increases the transformation duration to 8 seconds. Removes the movement speed penalty after the effect ends. Leo also gains a small amount of passive health regeneration while the ultimate is active.
Trait: "Junk Yard"
Leo periodically (every 15-20 seconds) generates 1 "Spare Part" (max stack of 3).
Using "Emergency Fix" consumes 3 Spare Parts.
Trait Upgrade (Talent):
Reduces the Spare Part cost of Emergency Fix to 1.
Also slightly reduces the Scrap Pistol's reload/cooldown time.
