Game plan idea- I wanted a character who was more of a spell wielding caster or mage which are present in more traditional mobas. A character who has a short cooldown spells which he uses instead of weapon attacks. I'm unsure of the idea fully as maybe that just isn't a design that works in deadlock. But I went ahead and made something anyway. Their gun is designed to be useful primarily in a range where they probably don't want to be as a way to funnel people into using the spells more.

Visual ideas: I like the idea of a astrologer or something similar who uses spiritual power to call down celestial entities.

Ability 1: comet strike - choose a small AOE, after a short delay, a meteorite falls and explodes at the location dealing DMG in an aoe. Hitting a hero reduces CD by 2s. The projectile falls from the sky and pierces everything in a vertical line. A mortar-like ability.

Delay: 1s
Range: 30m(.01x spirit scaling)
AOE: 1.5m
4 second cooldown
Damage: 40(1.5x scaling)

Upgrade 1: +20 dmg
Upgrade 2: +20m range
Upgrade 3: each strike builds a stack that boosts the damage of the next comet strike. Lasts 6s, stacks up to 5x, each stack gives 20% Starfall dmg

Ability 2: shooting star- launch a ball of starlight in an arc forward that explodes on impact, dealing more damage the farther it travels

22 second cooldown
Impact DMG: 50 DMG (1x spirit scaling)
DMG per meter: 2(.05x spirit scaling)
AOE size: 2m

Upgrade 1: -7 second cooldown reduction
Upgrade 2: +50% projectile velocity
Upgrade 3: +4 DMG per m traveled

Ability 3: cosmic veil - summon a veil wall that has one way sightline similar to the veils found around the map. Firing bullets through the veil adds a small amount of bonus spirit damage to each shot.
Same dimensions as the veils found on the map
Extra bullet damage: 5 spirit per shot
Max additional damage per second: 40 per player

30 second cooldown

Upgrade 1: +1 charge
Upgrade 2: increased veil size and duration
Upgrade 3: +100 max additional damage per second

Ult: Wish - Make a wish imbuing your abilities with special properties for 1 cast.

45s cooldown
Ability 1: strikes twice, continues to do so as long as you continuously hit enemies with it
Ability 2: stuns enemies hit for 1s and increases the aoe size by 3m
Ability 3: allies that walk through the veil heal for 250hp (one time effect)

Upgrade 1: -10s cooldown
Upgrade 2: Cleanses you and nearby allies on cast, 5m
Upgrade 3: Abilities gain the wish effect twice
