I've been really enjoying all the recent map changes and all the new ways we can traverse the map. It got me thinking recently of a hero who could take better advantage of all the new corridors, alleyways, and rooftops that are now available to us.
It also got me thinking that we don't have another 'Haze' counterpart in The Occult Security and Investigation Commission to play yet. So what if Haze had some friendly internal competition?
Hero Name: Weblynn
Assassin-type rogue hero, similar to Haze, who utilizes speed and superior positioning to track and strike a target. She excels in relentlessly pursuing targets and engaging in close quarters combat with her twin sabers Ash & Fade.
Gun(s)
Twin GLOCK-like Pistols - Matrix Style - Similar to Hazes SMG's but alternating single shot fire.
Abilities
(1) Web Wall
Launch a web-wrap bolt from your wrist. Direct hits on enemies transform this bolt into a instant web wall, dealing Spirit Damage and immobilizing them and any nearby enemies who walk through it for 2.5 seconds. You can activate this projectile as it flies to prematurely trigger this web wall at its current location.
(2) Sling
Target, attach, and fling yourself to a nearby surface or target with your grappling hook. Slinging onto enemies deals damage and is considered a Light Melee attack. You maintain and retain all forward momentum when activating or while using Sling.
(3) Ash & Fade
Gain an attack bar with a queue indicating if you will strike next with your sabers, Ash or Fade.
Attacks with Ash deal Bullet Damage and reduce a targets Bullet Resist
Attacks with Fade deal Spirit Damage and reduce a targets Spirit Resist
Using this ability while using Sling causes you to whirlwind and attack with both sabers at once.
(4) Backstab
After a brief charging period attempt to drive both your sabers deep into the back of an enemy for massive damage, split equally as Bullet & Spirit Damage. This attack deals 60% less damage striking enemies from the front. You can freely move, jump, dodge, slide and activate Sling while Backstab charges.
