Murphy was one of the characters from Neon Prime. I don't know how he played then, but it seems like he was scrapped/combined with Warden. His character still exists in the lore, based on some of Holliday's dialogue, but it would be cool to have a playable character that represents the law of a magical New York, almost like The Watch of Discworld's Ankh-Morpork (for clarification, Warden isn't a cop and seems to use Murphy's model). The character doesn't even have to be Murphy, just a police officer.
The archetype Murphy is going for here is a support/dps hybrid. The main strengths are picking off individual opponents, and having the tools to split up enemies and retaliate against pushes. Murphy's main flaws are his movement, and his DPS against multiple opponents. He also gets stumped by Debuff Remover.
Murphy uses a shotgun with the same reload properties as Abrams and Fathom.
Heavy Melee uses a Truncheon.
