Hero idea: Muerta

Agreed. Muerta could fit pretty well with stats similar to Dota 2

1 is Deadshot

Muerta shoots a bouncing trickshot that bounces once to the closest unit and scares the units hit for 1 sec, 60 spirit damage.

2 is The Calling (maybe as a 4)

Muerta Summons a group of revenants that slowly circle the area-targeted location. Applies both movement speed slow and attack speed slow to affected enemies within the radius. Could be same gimmick, maybe smaller numbers.

3 is Gunslinger
Muerta has a 50% chance to shoot twice for one bullet.

4 as Pierce the veil

Muerta transforms and is immune to all bullet damage instances. Her attack damage is now dealt as Spirit damage. Whenever she gets a kill while transformed she gets 5 spirit.

This sounds surprisingly fitting for Deadlock. Even her visual design wouldn't be that out of place in the game as a ghostly gunslinger.

Exactly my thoughts. She is the perfect crossover character as she is a dead spirit that could exist in an universe where the battle of the ancients never happened. and she joins the Ritual of the Patrons to try to fix the wrongs she couldn't fix after her deal with death.

Also think about it, She could be the only character to have played Artifact, Dota and Deadlock in the same universe lol.
 
I feel like Muerta almost has to be in the game to pull in players from Dota and increase the longevity of the game. Plus, they already have the character model for it lol
 
considering death is timeless and we have time based heroes, they could easily pull her over in a lore friendly way she would blend in so well
 
I don't know how to (or if you can) edit posts but I wanted to develop my idea a bit more, And I don't want to open a new thread cuz this one already exists. If not for the hero, but because some MX / Muerta / Dia de muertos Representation would fit perfectly with this game.

Now, I understand Muerta is already a hero in Dota 2, But a reference to her or Design derived from her wouldn't be a problem (Maybe a Muerto or callback would be nice), I imagine The hero as a Gunslinger in an Adelita clothing (Poncho, Long dress, Crossing Bandoliers and Sombrero) with the bandoliers loaded with green candles, The sombrero on her back and her hair braided over her shoulder.
(Or straight up muerta model, but the sombrero might be handy)

550 Starting health (+30 per lvl) , 2hp regen, 7 m/s , 2 stamina.
30 bullet damage (+1 per lvl) , 12 ammo, 2 bullets per sec.

1- Trickshot / Deadshot

Suggestion 1. With a targeting similar to what Trapper uses to set up his traps (but not skewed down), The hero shoots a projectile forward that bounces to the destination and deals damage on its way and after bouncing.

100(+1x spirit) damage + 20(+.5x spirit) Extra damage after bouncing. 20 CD.

Suggestion 2. Targeted spell, 25m range, Shoots a projectile that Bounces once to closest enemy. (similar to familiar crow)

50(+1x spirit) damage + 20(+.2x spirit) Extra damage after bouncing. 15 CD.

suggested Upgrades:
T1Slows before bouncing for 1s. 50%
T2Silence After bouncing for 2s
T5Bounces 2 more times/ Gains Charges

2- Dance of the Dead / The Calling

The hero throws her hat, Once it reaches the ground 5 ghosts spin around the hat for 6 seconds, (Ghosts could be doing a Tapatio Dance for some nice flair, Enjoying it) When a ghost touches an enemy it deals 45(+0.4xSpirit) damage. When a bullet goes trough a ghost, It gets slowed by half. Enemies are also slowed when between the hat and the ghosts.


30(+0.4x spirit) damage on touch, 30% slow in the zone, 40 CD, 10 meter radius, 6 Seconds duration.
suggested Upgrades:
T1Ghost deal extra damage on touch/ Kills extend the dance
T2Ghosts Disarm when touching / Slow more in Zone
T5Ghosts block bullets/ Longer duration. / Creates a circular cosmic veil.

3- Gunslinger / Ghostslinger

Suggestion 1. 20% Extra bullet chance, Extra bullet deal Spirit damage equal to bullet damage.
Suggested Upgrades:
T1Chance scales with spirit
T2 Extra Bullets Ricochet once
T5Extra bullets damage now scale with spirit (0.1)

Suggestion 2. 5s cd. Followed by death, It helps you kill. A ghost hand haunting the hero shoots from over the shoulder every 5 seconds, activated by shooting with a small delay after shooting, It targets an enemy at random within 30m within range. Can't miss.

suggested Upgrades:
T1Hitting reduces cd(0.1s)
T2CD scales with Fire rate / CD scales with spirit (0.01)
T5-2 CD.

4- Pierce the veil/ Spirit form

The hero propels forward and gains 100% Bullet resistance. Flies in the air at low heights and all damage becomes Spirit damage. (I suggest bullet damage becomes base damage + 0.1 extra spirit damage to the shots/ or /30 spirit damage +1x Spirit damage gun). But takes 20%more spirit damage. 5 sec duration. 100 cd.

suggested Upgrades:
T130% Firerate + 2ms During the ult.
T240% Spirit lifesteal during the ult. / Bullets pierce thin walls
T5-30 CD / Kills give 3 Spirit during ult. (all kills obtained, assists don't count)
