Moneybags would be another variant of a New York mobster hero. They would be monocled and carry a huge sack of money as if they were the Monopoly Man or Moneybags from Spyro. I have some basic Ideas for weapons and abilities below.
Primary Weapon: Dollar Bills
- Cash is thrown from the hand in a "make it rain" type animation.
- Potentially feels like Magician's Playing Card Gun.
Ability One: Bag Slam
- Moneybags swings his huge sack of money at the enemy.
- This could hit like Bebop's 1, sending the enemy back a few feet or potentially stunning them.
Ability Two: Goons
- Spawns spirit goons, a generic AI turret type item that shoots pistols at close range targets.
- Think Calico Cat or McGinnis Turret
Ability Three: Coin Toss
- Moneybags throws coins in a small area near an enemy,
- These coins could stun enemies as they are forcibly drawn to picking up the coins.
- OR they could deal a small amount of spirit damage and slow the area like a Kudzu bomb.
Ultimate Ability: Mugging
- Think Mo and Krill's ability to lock an enemy into place and deal some damage over time.
- This animation could be alone or goons could spawn and help beat up the enemy.
Had some fun brainstorming this stuff! I'd be happy to hear expansions on the idea for sure.
