harry rogers was a conscript during WW2 where he led a small unit, he was known to rush out of the trenches first at the call of a charge. during his service he would have an encounter with the thule society, a german occultist group. he would leave that fight the sole survivor and left with a curse that disfigured half his face. out of fear for his curse spreading to other soldiers, he was deemed unfit for service and sent back to civilian life early.
though he got away with his live, the survivors guilt would haunt him the rest of his days. seeking to redeem himself, he would research all he could about the mystics and occult so that he could right his wrongs, or at the very least avenge his fallen comrade, and the advent of the patron would be just what he was looking for. wielding his trusty garand and bayonet, he goes out to complete the ritual so he may go back in time and change his fate, surely the patrons are capable of this?

M1 garand, slow firerate, high damage per shot, 8 round magazine
[1st ability: rifle grenade]
channel for 0.5 seconds and fire a lobbed projectile that explodes in a 2 meter radius, dealing spirit damage
[2nd ability: smoke grenade]
throw a grenade creating a cloud of smoke 4 meters across for 5 seconds and dealing light spirit damage, enemies passing trough the smoke are blinded and have their view reduced to 16 meters for 3 seconds
[3rd ability: bayonet charge]
(passive) hitting an enemy with a heavy melee will deal additional spirit damage and slow on hit for 1.5 seconds
(passive should have a cooldown)
(active) charge forwards and deal spirit damage to every enemy hit and slow on hit for 2 seconds
[Ultimate: CHARGE!]
blow the whistle and grant yourself 13m/s speed leave a 6 meter wide trail behind that grants the same movespeed to allies walking along it, also grant 30% weapon and spirit resist to you and allies on the trail. trail lasts 7 seconds before dissipating

despite deadlock taking place in a world of mystics and the occult, it still closely follows real world events so i figured making a character related to the events of ww2 would be fitting.
the thule society is a real thing that existed during ww2, althought their believes nonsensical and they spend most of their time looking for proof that germans were the original master race.
im not confident in my ability to balance abilities so this skillset is likely too weak or broken is some ways.
and again i dont have any art skills, nor do i have equipment to make a decent drawing, so im probably not gonna make any concept art.
