came up with an idea for a hero based on the candle troopers inspired by giant parade balloons.
[Weapon and Abilities]
Flickering Flame - Charge up a slow moving flame projectile to shoot, the more you charge the more damage the projectile will do. Wick peaks out from under the mask to shoot so that the flame can get bigger when charging.
(1)Headbutt - Smash down your head in front of you doing damage and making the target stuck in the ground, if the target is in the air they will slam down. (inspired by Donkey Kong's side special from smash maybe you could also mash to get out of the cc faster idk).
(2)Wax Grab - Shoot out wax to grab onto a target traveling to the target doing damage on impact, alternatively before arrival perfectly time space to jump past the target location keeping momentum. Can be cast onto teammates, enemies and camps.
(3)Combustion - A passive that makes a small invisible circle around you, anyone inside the circle will be slowed and take damage over time from your flame. When shooting a certain amount of bullets on a target it will proc and surround the enemy with flames that do small burn damage but attracts your next bullets that you fire towards the enemy, each proc you gain a permanent stack towards your ult.
(4)Hot Air - Inflate your head to be giant making you slower but gaining increased bonus base damage, base health increase and improving ability damage. Triggering Combustion on proc gain a permanent stack that increases stat bonuses and Wick's size. When in Hot Air, Wick opens his mouth to shoot out flames like a flamethrower it has a small range and replaces Flickering Flame. Headbutt changes where instead of smashing the enemy into the ground Wick eats the enemy and does a burst of damage, trigger Headbutt again to spit the enemy out in a direction. (maybe wick could float or glide when using ult so if you use wax grab you keep momentum pass target and press Hot Air to glide away could be cool movement).
Backstory Concept: Rejected candle trooper, Wick's flame was too bright for his own good always melting trying to keep himself together. Wick is fighting in the ritual undercover to prove himself to the Hidden King. (could have cute interactions with the archmother).
