Deadlock made me learn how to draw just to share goofy character ideas, since I always loved game design and character design from afar. So, uhm, thanks Valve for giving me new hobbies I guess?
Anyway, meet the very-goofy Scarfin, originally named something like Glark, but since it's was kinda close to the late Slork, I changed his name. Here are his abilities, no precise numbers for everything since I was more focused on the character than on the balancing itself. I'll probably write a bit of lore for him someday, I can definitely see something to do around him and Wraith.
A classic submachine gun, not very exciting. Shoots faster and faster during a burst, a bit like McGinnis. Expected to have a lower base ammo than her, and therefore more damage per bullet.
Smokey (32s CD) — Blow smoke, dealing spirit damage in a cone in front of Scarfin, slowing enemies for 3 seconds.
➤ 1 AP : reduces enemies' fire rate by 30% for the duration of the slow.
➤ 2 AP : Scarfin deals +30% bullet damage to enemies slowed.
➤ 5 AP : -12 CD.
Note : Designed to have low base damage, but an acceptable scaling, ~x1.2.
Diving In (50s CD) — Dives into *Predator's Trail*'s water, purging negative effects, making Scarfin invulnerable and instantly granting him +X% move speed. Last for a maximum of 4 seconds.
➤ 1 AP : instantly grants +3 sprint for the duration.
➤ 2 AP : restores bullet and spirit shield.
➤ 5 AP : faster cast time.
Note : During Diving In, the trail don't disappear. Can't be used during hard-CC like stun, sleep and such. Think of this ability having a slow cast time. Also, he can only moves in trails, making the pathing predictable.
Predator's Trail (Passive) — Scarfin passively leaves a trail of water behind him, slowly disappearing after 3 seconds. The trail slows enemies and deals spirit damage every second.
➤ 1 AP : can now be activated to spread a large water puddle around Scarfin. (20s CD.)
➤ 2 AP : standing on a trail grants +30% fire rate to Scarfin.
➤ 5 AP : the slow significantly increases as enemies remain inside.
Note : Trail also spawns on zipline, with dashes, blink, and every other type of movement abilities.
Snaccy! (85s CD) — Scarfin jumps in front of him, dealing heavy spirit damage to the first hero hit, scaling with Scarfin's maximum health instead of spirit power and regens 20% of the damage dealt.
➤ 1 AP : deals additional damage equal to his Heavy Melee damage.
➤ 2 AP : apply a 90% slow to the target for 1.5 second.
➤ 5 AP : -20 CD.
