(Read in Patron voice) They left you swaying in the breeze Phytos, but their ironic little joke will be their undoing. Complete the ritual, and master the cycle of life and death; Your enemies await a verdant reckoning.

Character Design: A shambling zombie, covered in leaves, vines and other organic detritus. Phytos has the bent neck of a hanged man, with coiled plants keeping him upright as he ambles after foes.

Weapon: Brief charge up time, 40 round magazine: Phytos unfurls his gnarled right hand to attack, spewing a flurry of razor-sharp leaves.

Moss Mine – 1 Charge, 5s delay between charges, 25s Cooldown.
Summon a plant that patrols an 8m radius. On detecting an enemy, the plant rushes towards them, dealing an immediate 80 damage (x1 scaling) and latching on. While latched, the target is disarmed, but the plant can be removed with multiple melee attacks or shot off by an ally.
  • 1 AP: +4m patrol radius.
  • 2 AP: +1 Charge.
  • 5 AP: Deals damage on removal and improved scaling (becomes x1.75 scaling).
Ensnaring Vines – 30s Cooldown, 3s max channel duration.
Launch vines that travel rapidly through the ground. On hitting an enemy, channel a stun on them that drains 10% bullet resistance per second.
  • 1 AP: +50% vines travel speed and distance.
  • 2 AP: Move at 20% speed during channel.
  • 5 AP: Also drains 5% Fire Rate per second.
Old-growth Obstinance – 60s Cooldown, 4s duration.
Block the next Stun, Silence, Root or Sleep. After a successful block, receive a 4s 30% move speed slow and 15% Spirit Resist increase (x0.33 scaling).
  • 1 AP: +40 damage (x0.5 scaling) in a 10m radius on block or expiry.
  • 2 AP: -30s cooldown.
  • 5 AP: Gain move speed instead of losing it on successful block and +2s buff duration.
The Hangman’s Tree – 120s Cooldown, 12s duration, 10m radius
Summon a colossal tree that strikes at enemies with hanging vines. The tree has 8 vines, 2 per quadrant, that deal 100 damage (x1.2 scaling) and attack once per second. The Tree has 1000 health and 20% Bullet Resist.
  • 1 AP: +2m vine reach.
  • 2 AP: -30s Cooldown.
  • 5 AP: +1000 Tree health and +20% Bullet Resist.

My first attempt at a very utility oriented character, Phytos borrows a lot of vibes from Dota's Shadow Shaman and Undying. I'd like to see more summons like McG's sentries in the game as well to get more of a feel for balancing their mechanics, as well as some bigger teamfight ults other than just Dynamo's Singularity.
 
Neat kit, cool lore too, my only gripe is that ensnaring vines sounds impossible to hit, especially considering he has no slows. Maybe Old-growth obstinance could work like abaddon's shield, where if its broken it pops, dealing dmg and slowing, tho I can see how thatd be way too strong were it to be added on top of all the other effects

Thanks for the feedback! I felt like the effects on vines warranted it being more of a skillshot like Mirana arrow, but with more innate mobility in this game its probably fair that it'd be tough to hit. Maybe having the mines slow rather than disarm would be better for the kit overall; right now there isn't much point to following up a mine hit with a stun since you'd be overlapping the disarm with a disable.
