Hero Concept: The Outcast & The Beast
Core Inspiration: My main inspiration is my dog named Avena. I really like Deadlock, and I’d just love to see her represented somewhere [in the game].

Character Profile
Appearance: A young man in his mid-20s. He wears semi-formal attire (think a disheveled suit with a tie) contrasted with piercings and tattoos.

The Companion: He is accompanied by a dog—who, according to the lore, is a mystical beast or creature hunted by various organizations.

Personality: Sarcastic with a penchant for "dad jokes." He acts as a bit of a "cringe" middle-ground in the roster and is fiercely overprotective of his pet.
And crush on Celest

The Pact: His wish to the Patron is to find a sanctuary for his companion where they can never be found by those who hunt them.

Weapon: A specialized revolver with an extendable stock/barrel that can be toggled or modified.

Abilities
Ability 1:

Description: A projectile-based ability with 3 charges that pierces through enemies.

Effect: Landing three consecutive hits deals Spirit Damage (Blessed Damage).

Cooldown: Charges are regained through specific actions or time (dashing, melee hits, or landing a certain number of weapon shots).

Ability 2:

Description: After shooting an enemy for a sustained duration, he commands his dog to lunge.

Effect: The dog slows the target and deals damage over time by biting.

Counterplay: The attack stops if the enemy successfully parries, if the ability is canceled manually, or if the enemy moves out of range.

Ability 3:

Description: The hero leaps in a directional arc.

Effect: Deals area-of-effect (AoE) damage directly beneath him during the jump. Upon landing, affected enemies have their Spirit Resistance reduced.

Ultimate Ability:

Description: A massive buff for both the owner and the beast.

Effect: The hero breaks the dog's chains, causing it to grow in size and gain increased health. The beast attacks nearby enemies, prioritizing targets the player is currently shooting.

Owner Buffs: The hero gains 2 additional charges for his first ability.

Ability Mutation: During the Ultimate, the 2nd ability changes into a coordinated charge, where both the player and the pet dash toward an enemy together.

I don't have a photo or concept art for the character, but I'll leave [a photo of] my dog here

Gray & Frijoles: Character Lore

Background
The owner, Gray, comes from a lineage known as the Bloodhound Family. This is not a family of blood, but a Great House that adopts and indoctrinates new members into their ranks. They are a prestigious guild of hunters who revolve around "The Beast." Only a select few are permitted to handle the creature, a right that must be earned through rigorous trials.

When Gray finally made contact with The Beast, he didn't see a monster; he saw a terrified dog. Choosing empathy over tradition, he betrayed his adoptive family. Using the very training they gave him, he stole the family relic—an Extendable Revolver—and liberated the creature, renaming her Frijoles.

Now, Gray wanders with no clear path, his only goal being to ensure Frijoles can live in peace, fully prepared to face the lethal consequences of his betrayal when the time comes.

In-Game Ties & References
Celeste: He is a loyal fan and has attended every single one of her shows.

Paige: He enjoys attending her reading sessions in his downtime.

The Doorman: Gray deeply distrusts him, mainly because Frijoles refuses to trust him.

Calico: There is a visible tension between them; they do not get along at all.

Vindicta: Gray feels a deep empathy for her mission. He has already reached out to her, asking for her lethal assistance when the time inevitably comes to eliminate the Bloodhound Family.

Seven: Aware of the true nature of "The Beast," Seven maintains a cautious distance. He knows that Frijoles is far more dangerous than she appears and prefers not to provoke her.

Lash: Gray simply thinks he’s a total jerk.

Combat Mechanics: The Extendable Revolver
The Family Relic (Extendable Revolver) is a modular weapon designed for adaptability:

Skill 1 (Deployment): Gray attaches the extended handle/stock to the revolver to stabilize his aim or increase range.

Ultimate (Skill 4): The weapon remains in its extended configuration throughout the duration of the ultimate, channeling the full power of the relic alongside Frijoles.

Edit 2:
Weapon & Ability
Weapon Name: Mercy
Type: Short-to-mid-range weapon.
Ability 1: Each empowered shot consumes a percentage of Gray's health to unleash its full potential.

In the character description:

Adopted and trained by a family that never saw him as a son, but rather as a tool to maintain their power, Gray saw his own reflection in the beast they used for indiscriminate hunting. Deciding to end this cycle once and for all, Gray fled with the family's greatest possessions. No matter the cost, he will find a home for his new best friend:

Frijoles

Trying to create a visualization of them.
