This hero is inspired by one of my favorite mechanics in hero shooters- blasting people through terrain.
Creative: Ghosthunter is a member of the anti-occult team and is themed around being an technology-wielding exorcist. Their abilities are themed around detecting and trapping foes. They are a support style character with utility and scouting abilities, although they also have an attack buff that can be turned towards a damage focused build.
Ability 1- Trapper's Net
Ghosthunter throws a medium speed puck that flies in an arc and bounces off the walls and floor. When the ability button is pressed again, an electrified net explodes out in a flat disc around the puck, immobilizing and damaging enemies in the area. The damage, size of the area and duration of the immobilization all start out small, but grow the longer the projectile travels.
Ability 2- Ouiji Trap
Ghosthunter lays an Ouiji board on the ground within a short range that takes 2 seconds to arm and lasts 3 minutes. The first enemy hero that walks within a small area of the trap triggers it and is silenced for 5 seconds and their outline is visible through walls and on the map to Ghosthunter and allies.
Ability 3- Ethereal Blast
Ghosthunter charges up their gun with ghost energy. Their next three shots are slow firing blasts that deal extra spirit damage, have reduced fall-off, slow enemies hit and pierce through all terrain. (This allows ghosthunter to shoot enemies revealed by their second and ultimate ability through walls)
Ultimate Ability- ESP Tagging
Ghosthunter globally designates a wide area either by throwing a super long range projectile or clicking on the map if that UI is possible. (The idea is that this works something like a bigger "Scan" from Dota 2) All enemies in the area are instantly tagged and receive a debuff that reveals their position through walls to Ghosthunter and their team for 20 seconds.
Primary Weapon: Ghosthunter uses an energy beam weapon like Bebop as an homage to the Ghostbusters
