(hero concept) french. (a tf2 homage, and a interesting concept for a high skill hero that rewards good strategy and is high risk and reward.)

A french spy, and a nod to tf2, but not an exact copy.

his abilities combo with each other, some even combo with other players abilities. he is very fast. he has very low resistance and health, dying in a few hits. but he makes up with it, as if a player has the skill, they can do some insane damage and even win 1 v 4s, if they plan well and time every thing right.

his abilities would be:

1: gas pellet:
This has a cooldown of 12 seconds, but upgrades reduce this to 8. Gas pellets create gas clouds on impact that restrict vision in an area of a few metres, and weaken the bullet resist of enemies caught in them, whilst dealing some spirit damage over time. the first upgrade allows it to slow down and disable the abilities of enemy if the pellet hits them. its second upgrade makes it boost regen and healing of any friendlies that walk through the cloud for a few seconds as well. the third upgrade of this makes it so a bullet or ability shot through a gas cloud does increased damage. its final upgrade makes that any enemies that die whilst in the gas spawn smaller less powerful gas clouds.

2: stealth:
on activation of this, he turns invisible, and gains a speed boost. he does double headshot damage whilst in this. melee does double damage whilst invisible as well. when he is attacking it reveals him for a moment and when he is hit it reveals him for a short moment as well. when an ability hits him it ends his invisibility instantly and cooldown takes longer. his invisibility ends after 4 seconds at base, but can be extended to 6 seconds with its upgrades. Recharge time can be decreased to 7 seconds from upgrades alone, but starts at 10 seconds. Build him right and you can most of the time invisible. he is partially visible when invisible but you have to look closely. the more still he is, the more visible he is. so he must move all the time. at full upgrades, kills whilst invisible increase the time by 0.4 seconds, and hero kills increase it by a full second. whilst in stealth he also can see through cover, and he can see through his own gas, as enemies gain an outline only visible to him while he is in stealth. the final upgrade gives him double fire rate and double shot charge time when in stealth. abilities and items do not affect stealth.

3: deathmark.
this gives an enemy an outline visible to the whole map. any damage done to someone marked lowers there max health and their bullet AND spirit resistance. they take increased headshot damage and melee damage.

4: disguise
french's ultimate allows him to disguise himself as anyone he targets. The disguise ends when an enemy bullet hits him. abilities dont count because then disguises would last about one second. disguise ends when he attacks as well. the attack he does that ends his disguise has slightly increased damage

he has a unique melee. it is a dagger hidden in a baguette, to fit both the french theme and the spy theme. the quick melee is quicker than usual and does higher damage than usual. his charged melee is less telegraphed than the base charged is. it is a quick but far lunge forward that does very good damage. his melee has bleed build up too. his quick melee also moves him ahead with the slash.

he doesnt use a gun, instead throwing knives. he has infinite knives which do great headshot damage. he can charge a throw for better velocity, range and damage.

as he has infinite ammo he doesnt need to reload. so instead, the reload button instead throws a grappling hook out. he can swing across the map using it. it doesnt affect enemies though. it is a movement and escape tool.

these can all be changed of course if they dont fit the game well.

Instead of disguising as enemy player (They will realize immediately its a spy), maybe turn him into one of the many crate and prop around the map. Would be funny when people roll into a crate and instead of breaking, the crate just shoot back. Tbh disguise is a little underwhelming as an ultimate.

im gonna rework this and take this into idea, i do think it was slightly underwhelming, but its more for a reposition and a set up to kill a few heroes quickly.
