
Debuff - Daring - Drunk
This character would be an aggressive support focused on getting close to the enemy, drawing attention, causing chaos, and applying debuffs.
Gun – An old-timer’s coach gun that fires two shots in very quick succession, with a fast reload and medium spread (like Pocket’s gun).
1 – Frenzied Swing – Attack wildly in a cone, dealing increased damage to closer enemies and applying a slow. The ability’s range increases as Bootlegger’s HP gets lower.
2 – Drunken Dash – Dash forward. This ability has a very low cooldown (1–2 seconds), but repeated use within a short period reduces the distance traveled and puts it on a longer cooldown once that period ends. The dash could also become less accurate with repeated use, veering slightly left or right instead of going straight, but this might feel bad to play.
3 – Provoke – A short-range charged skillshot that causes hit enemies to move toward Bootlegger. It's a taunt/charm ability.
4 – Cask Toss – Bootlegger summons inhuman strength to throw a massive barrel, causing an AOE explosion. Enemies hit suffer stamina reduction, reduced gun accuracy, and decreased resistances. It could also apply a nasty visual effect to affected heroes’ screens, similar to a reduced Drifter ultimate, or obscure enemy health bars.
Thematically, the Bootlegger contrasts the appearance of a hunched old man with fast, frenzied attacks and movements, culminating in lifting and throwing a massive cask for his ultimate.
