Hello, I'm from Colombia and I don't want to play on the South American server anymore, please help.

Normally, I use 'citadel_region_override 0' to solve the issue in the title, but it doesn't work for ranked matches. That's why I say it's a bug. It always matches me in SA and not in NA, even after doing 'citadel_region_override 0.' Please help, I'm not having my best ranked matches because of this.

I think it's based on your ping. I reside in Panama and in the summer the main server I got set to was SA. Then I changed it to NA and after that it has been like that. I usually get 80-90 ping.

No, it’s not based on ping, I think it’s just because my country is literally in South America. If it were based on ping, it would match me in NA a thousand times. In NA, Colombians have better connections because of the undersea internet cables; I get 60 ping in NA, while in SA I get 100 ping.

I didn’t understand you, haha, but yes, I did try to look through the game files for one that had the region config, no luck. There was one that mentioned 'network' and was set to -1, which I think is the value the developers use to set things to default. I changed it to 0, which is the US, and nope, I’m still connecting to SA.

no, you need to make autoexec file on your own, then in the game launch setting you just set it up to execute, just google how to do it.

because of the ping. why would we want to play on a brazilian server, when there's even lower ms connecting to eu, than to there? it may be a revelation to you, but sa is really big. I have 60 ping to miami and 160 ping to brazil. so what would I rather choose?

Look at the screenshot, I have high ping. On NA, it’s better for me.

Uff, I almost want to say it worked for me. Based on this image and this tutorial

, I managed to do what you mentioned. I've opened the game about 10 times, and 2 or 3 times when searching in Ranked, it did let me connect to NA. But unfortunately, that's not always the case. Look at the 'nice' ping I get when I manage to connect to NA.
