Health packs

Am I the only one who'd like see more available health packs like in TF2 or OW? I feel like those feel good in shooting games. I would rather this game implement the best aspects of shooter games first and then add on the more intricate aspects of MOBAs second.

I like it as is with items
I guess I'm not saying take away the items, but it feels like you have to rely on your creeps to heal you in lane, and I feel like it gives less control to the player to stay alive. In a normal shooter it's kind of fun (In my opinion) to sort of know the map and try to outplay your enemy. Whether you like it or hate it, we even have health packs in Dota in the form of water runes and lotuses now.

While I'm pretty happy with the way healing works right now, I think this would be an interesting case for bringing back something like the Shrines Dota 2 used to have. Deadlock feels way more like a MOBA than a shooter in its current iteration, meaning fast-paced action where you can quickly reset from an engagement by picking up a respawning health pack seems antithetical to the current flow the game has right now. Even water runes and lotuses are important resources teams fight over because they're so limited and impactful to early game. I don't think it's necessarily a bad idea to have some form of quick healing on the map, but it'd have to be something that's thoughtfully implemented.

I agree completely, not a huge heal, but maybe something a bit smaller scale
