I just did this, will let you know if the fps drops reoccur. Thanks for sharing it!1. Reload ur PC
2. If nVidia go to C:\Users\UR_USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\NVIDIA\PerDriverVersion\DXCache
If AMD go to C:\Users\UR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\AMD\DxCache
3. Delete all files in folder
4. Go to Sandbox and activate Haze ult to cash the effect
5. No FPS drop more
It will fix menu fps drops too too
Heyyy it's me again. After the patch, the same bug repeated. It will fix menu fps drops too too
That's just the DX Shader Cache, deleting the contents isn't going to fix the bug.1. Reload ur PC

Ran into this yesterday as well, my method didn't work. We have to wait for a fixHeyyy it's me again. After the patch, the same bug repeated.
I tried clearing the cache and resetting the ult. But despite doing that, the bug still persists.
T.T Any idea on how to fix it?
Initially it helped, but now it doesn'tThat's just the DX Shader Cache, deleting the contents isn't going to fix the bug.
It's something in the game code that Valve needs to fix.
Yeah T.T Just have to wait. I now try to restart after each game to prevent it. Not sure why but it seems to work so far.Ran into this yesterday as well, my method didn't work. We have to wait for a fix
Hopefully they fix it soon. More people complaining = more chance they notice it!damn this didn't work for me <cry>
Damn. I haven't encountered a bebop caused freeze yet.My Haze ult caused frames to drop to 0 (not sure if it was cause by the Bebop bomb or punch).

This won't work as everything is cached when you open the game again. You're just deleting and re-caching the same things.BTW, to all who are having the bug, you can try clearing the cache like how lamm suggested above.
Then between each game, restart your game. I found that I get less crashes now that I do it.
I'm running Intel so it's not an AMD only issue. Also AMD's most recent CPU blow Intel out of the water. This happens to me at least once per night playing Haze every other game or so. Mostly when a lot of other stuff is going on and hitting that ult is critical. After finally getting back from the 0 fps state, about 10-15 seconds later, UI stuff is messed up - such as the dagger ability showing it's not on cooldown, but nothing happens when I press it. It will stay bugged like that until the game is restarted.
I think it would be helpful for the devs if everyone wrote their PC specs, I saw in a Reddit thread that those who complained about this all had AMD hardware, which I do too. As an AMD user, I'm sick of their low quality garbage and will make sure to never buy any of their products again.
My specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
Motherboard: MSI PRO X670-P WIFI (MS-7D67)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT
RAM: Kingston 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL36 FURY
Game is stored on a WD BLACK SN850 NVMe SSD M.2, 7000 MB/s read, 5000 MB/s write speed
