GPU utilization jumps to 100% on shop screen

I tested on two different PCs, one with RTX 4080 and the other with RTX 4070 Ti.
I limited max frame rate on both of them (using fps_max ). Any time I open the shop when I am at curiosity shop, my fans start going very loud and I see GPU utilization increasing to 100%. The frame rate also gets a little lower than the maximum I set. I haven't done any Nsight profiling, but I am guessing something heavy is going on.

The PC with RTX 4070 Ti has some temp issues, so it needs FPS limiting. However, even with that, due to this issue with shop PC crashed and needed a restart.
No issues on RTX 4080 PC temp wise, but still gets quite hot as it utilizes the entire GPU.

Note that I was only able to reproduce this when I am at a shop. If I am anywhere else on the map, when I press B the shop UI still appears but there is no issues with GPU utilization. Drivers are up to date.

Same issues but I have AMD Chipset and GPU. Game just increases in utilization, since the patch, until it crashes.

same issue while in lobby and not a menu open. fps max works ingame and while in menu or dev console but once your in the lobby fps and gpu goes yeet.

running on AMD too.

Same issues again today after patch game just crashes.

Due to the effects of the store itself, you can see golden smoke. It's this smoke that makes the graphics card work a lot.
