Got Banned, need help!

I apologize if this is in the wrong thread.

@Yoshi I got banned 12 hours before the game came out from closed alpha onto steam.

I was invited to the game, thought the game was stream safe, went live and got perma banned.

I have been banned for over a year, and really want to learn deadlock.

I made an alt steam just to play but cant stand it. Please help!

Who said this game is coming out from closed alpha in 12 hours? You got banned from playing Deadlock or did your Steam account got banned? Many people are already streaming the game on Twitch and YouTube with no issue whatsoever for more than a year now and nobody got banned because of this.

were currently in a closed beta, the alpha was back in 2024 when the game was still under NDA. I'm assuming he streamed under the NDA without realising that meant not being allowed to show the game to anyone and get perma-banned.

I would assume at this point in time getting unbanned would be possible, but idk. its been a long time.

LMAO I needed someone to translate from english to english. Thank you for the clarification. It's hard to understand anything from the OPs post. Like you said, he didn't respect the NDA. If someone breaks the law without knowing does that mean they get excused from jail time? I do hope he gets unbanned, but I'm not sure if it's fair for the rest of the gaming community.

Yes, he is correct. I accidently broke NDA for maybe 1 or 2 hours while streaming back before the game was released on Steam.

It was an accident, and I have done my time!

rules were pretty clear back then and accepting the invite meant you read and understood those rules.

You realize, this doesnt stop me from playing....

We know, you're asking to get unbanned so you can stream it again without your new username getting sniped every week.

people like you are why game developers typically dont include their players in alphas, because you cannot read a simple ruleset and follow them

@Yoshi I was gifted a DeadLock key 1 day before the game launched on Steam in open beta. I accidently streamed the night before to a small following, thinking the game was already in open beta.

I got a lifetime ban, about a year ago.

I've been playing randomly on a alt steam account I made, just to continue playing.

I did my time! Can I please be unbanned on my main??

Did your lifetime ban finished in 1 year? Also, accidental stream is when you stream something for a few seconds until you realise the mistake. You admited to streaming 1-2 hours, that's no accident.
