Getting banned for 7 hours just because my PC is lower end

I am all for banning people who purposely throw or like just leave when a match doesn't go their way but, my PC is on the lower end, I can still run the game 9 times out of 10 but there is always that 1 time where I come into a game and all of a sudden I can NOT run the game and it just keeps crashing. The first time this happened I got banned for 7 hours, this was later revealed to be an issue for a lot of people, and I got unbanned. Today I was playing standard matches with my friend, my wifi in the hosehold stopped working, I waited to see if it'd turn back on. After a while I tried my hotspot but steam wouldn't reconnect so I restarted my PC but by that time the match was over and I got banned for 2 hours. Now I was reasonably upset because my friend lives in a different time zone by the time I am unbanned they went to bed. But then I get on today and my friend who was taking a break from the game was finally getting back on so I am pumped to play some streetbrawl so, my game crashes, I reconnect, we lose. Now during the match my game was running fine so I thought "Okay I can do another match" and then when I get into the new match, I crash, I try to reconnect TWICE and both times it fails to reconnect me. So I am like "Okay I'll just let my pc cool down clearly this isn't working and then I get back on and I am banned for 7 hours.
Sorry if this comes off as a dumb rant but I really wanted to play Deadlock with my friend after their break from it and I feel like getting banned for 7 whole hours with seemingly no way to appeal is just... crazy. The punishment is befitting the crime if you're doing it out of malicious intent but... I don't think I should be banned for 7 hours just because I let my pc overheat
