Games crashed at random, FPS starts to tank a lot and sometimes weird transparent bar seemingly at random

Simply put my game crashes at random
At random my FPS get locked at like 16 and sometimes it fixes itself while other time they do not
Plus there are these annoying vertical bars on my screen that also appear at random. Help

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: GTX 1070 TI
RAM: 16GB Corsair

I would like to help you with this problem, as I have faced it myself. The first time this happened was when I first switched to VULKAN. Fps was smaller but more stable, so I decided to stay there. If you are playing on DX11 and you have such problems, you can try changing the game API. Settings are also decided on FPS in various situations of the game, many recommend lowering the quality of shadows or generally abandoning them, because in this game they spend a lot of resources. If you want to change the settings, I can help you with this. Also check that there are no resource-intensive applications running in the background of the game and that the game is in full screen. You can specify the following parameters in the startup parameters: -noaafonts -limitvsconst +fps_max 0 -nojoy -softparticlesdefaultoff -high -preload -m_rawinput 1 -untrusted. In principle, this is part of what can be done, you will need more information - write.

I can also add that the problem may be in your device. Because the deadlock very much requires the resources of both the processor and the video card, you may need to check the stability of the system itself and banal hardware settings for performance.

First of all thank you for the responce
I have switched back to DX11 and lowered the settings in general for now, I hope it will work.

If you want, you can try changing the settings to slightly lower than the game itself suggests. To do this, go to the folder with the game: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Deadlock\game\citadel\cfg. Find the file in this folder video.txt . And change the parameters in it as in the one that I will attach, just do not copy the entire file, but simply change your values to the same ones.

I had same problem, switching from Vulkan to DX11 seems to work for me.

However try put everything on graphic setting to Low and use Fsr2(quality or native)

Yes very sure, I monitor them constantly
CPU is at 60 degrees, while 70 in the GPU
Try using MSI afterburner to track the power consumption of your device, perhaps your processor and video card are missing exactly this. For 3600, the approximate ideal consumption would be 80 watts. When for 1070 ti it is 120 - 170 watts depending on the design. Also, if you generally want to increase performance and your motherboard is not from a budget solution, then you can try using the PBO from the BIOS settings to get high peak frequencies of your processor, which will put it approximately at the level of r5 5600\ 5500. Frequency can greatly affect performance

I already use it and i can assure the power consumption is within the normal level, plus Deadlock is the only game with which I have this issue
The game runs fine, I usually do 70-100 fps, but at random times the performances just tanks a lot locking me at 16 fps with at least 90ms of delay

How exactly does the processor power manifest itself, whether it always keeps one consumption. Does it happen that it drops to 25 watts and back?

I am unsure if I noticed such drops in power during these events, I'll try to play a couple of games to see if I notice anything

If there is a decrease, I advise you to think about the processor power supply circuits and if there is no cooling on them, cool them down

Will do if that's the case, but like I said Deadlock is the only game with this issue, and plus with my Air cooler and all the fans it should be well cooled
