Gameplay Audio slider affects Menu music Audio volume

The audio slider for 'Gameplay Audio' influences the max volume of the main Menu Music, even though the menu music has its own slider. To replicate: Go to Settings>Audio and set Master Volume to 100%, Menu Music to 100%, and play with the Gameplay Audio slider to hear the difference in the volume of the menu music.

My guess is that the menu music is a physical sound being played in the hideout? Maybe that's why? This is such a strange issue i really have no guess as to what it is. Valve pls fix.
