Hi, ive been playing without any problem for a little while now. But i noticed that todays patch broke something in my game.
Problem:
Whenever im at the main menu, fps(displayed by steam) spikes at 2000fps and gpu fans go wild.
It didnt happen before and its only on the main menu ( i didnt go to sandbox or started a match, fans scared me out). When i select the settings button, fps go back to 60 fps and gpu fans calms down but when i quit them fps spiked again.
What i tried:
1- Change every single option in settings, including vsync.
2- Cap the fps of the gpu at 60 from AMD Adrenalin app
3- Turn off and reset pc
Specs:
Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB DDR4
OS W11 PRO
GPU AMD 6700xt
The game is installed in a SSD
Commen Full hd monitor configured at 60hz
Some extra info:
I didnt have this problem with any other game, pc working fine
I didnt connect any new hardware
I didnt update OS
I didnt install new software
I played yesterday until matchmaking closed and went to sleep. Today i turned on the pc again, updated the game and opened it and this happnd
