All right, this has happened enough times now that I think I know what's happening.
Issue:
When in the hideout, waiting for a queue, my internet drops, and eventually when it reconnects after some minutes--the game notifies me that I can't stay in matchmaking when I am already in a game. Upon trying to "rejoin" this fails, because presumably the game never started. Then I receive an abandon penalty.
Expectation:
If the user client disconnects from the internet and fails to send a heartbeat, either postpone their queue or remove them entirely from queue. Which means when I lose connection, it should tell me I am no longer queueing, and when I regain my internet, it should either resume queueing or prompt me to queue again.
It's maddening whenever this happens.
