Game not starting after update (with solution) [LINUX&VULKAN]

I cannot start deadlock after the newest update. A error message appears when I start the game. (see attached image)

This might be, because I'm running on Linux, as my friends don't have this issue.

I tried various Proton versions: Proton Experimental, Proton 9.0-2, Proton 7.1-GE2, but none of them fixed the problem.

I found a similar issue with Dota 2 (https://steamcommunity.com/app/570/discussions/0/3187989920098062969/) where they wrote, that this is Vulkan's problem.

Launching the game with -dx11 fixes the issue, but the game is broken with Vulkan.

Have a similar issue on windows , game is stuck on valve screen after update

Can't play because vulkan gets stuck on loading screen and dx11 version is stuttering like hell

Am also on Windows 10 but am not having this issue after update. Uncertain why mine works. Maybe it has to do with Rendering setting?

Game doesn't launch, neither with default launch options nor with -dx11
