Game locked in "free cursor mode" after spectating while dead

Unfortunately you can't tell from the screenshot I took but the cursor was visible. After I clicked on my teammates portraits to swap who I was spectating, then came back to life, the game was permanently stuck in free cursor mode, meaning the direction I was facing was stuck. Nothing I did fixed it, not ESC not alt tabbing out not going to shop menu.

That's exactly what happened to me just now. I was able to walk, shoot, punch, and jump, but I couldn't look in any other direction or use any of my abilities. I doubt it helps, but just in case—match ID: 21445151.
