Hello,
I am experiencing an issue where I get stuck on the loading screen (the one the says "CROWLEYS" at the top) when joining a match. This issue happens persistently through game restarts and full reboots. This screen eventually times out and the match ends before I can join. Hitting escape opens the menu, and I have the option to leave spectating mode. Trying to close the game from this state, even if done via killing the program in task manager, does not result in a clean exit. The game hangs and must be terminated via a hung program dialog. The game also cannot be normally closed from any state, including the main menu, and again must be killed via a hung program dialog.
I have found that the issue is consistently resolved by switching to DX11 and rebooting my machine, however then I experience a different issue where my framerate is capped at 60 FPS no matter what I do, and there is a high degree of input latency. When I switch back to Vulkan, I can sometimes join one match, but only one, and then I experience a similar issue where my framerate is capped. Switching back to DX11 and rebooting my machine again allows me to join games again.
This issue seems to have been introduced within the past week, I believe it was in the patch on on Oct 10 but I am not certain. It was definitely after Oct 7 or so, but I was travelling for a while and the issue started when I returned.
I can join the sandbox consistently without issue or delay, the issue appears to be specific to the main map.
I am on a 7900XTX with the latest drivers as of this evening. I can provide full system specs if requested.
There doesn't appear to be anything relevant in the console logs, but I can provide them if requested.
I have tried verifying game files, nothing was found. I have not attempted a complete reinstall yet.
Please request any additional information or debugging steps that would help resolve the issue, I would be happy to help.
