Game Crashes after every death.

Idk what happened but in this update, if you die you have a pretty good chance of your game just straight up crashing and closing, no crash report after tho. I just played a game where you have over an 80% chance of crashing if you died. pls fix indie company

Edit: Also, there is about a 50% chance that when you come back, you can't shoot or use spells at all. The animation plays, but nothing happens.

Happened to us too. It was happening for multiple players on both teams. Visual bugs when coming back seemed to resolve after a couple of minutes, but there were no bullet projectiles, player animations were sketchy, map was broken, etc. Match code 24771093 if it helps.

Me and my friend noticed something. It SEEMS that it only crashes when people destroy (one of) your death-orbs. We never crashed
If they didn't destroy them. Could be a coincidence. Can someone confirm?

Same, but paradox had to be involved, otherwise I just die.
In addition to that Steam won't bother updating until now - match is lost of course and safe to leave at this point.

Interesting that you mention Paradox. I was paradox in my match, and I crashed every single death. Some of my teammates crashed as well, but I think that only happened when I was near them.

Exactly the same in my ranked game, my team won but it was not fair for the enemy team. Every time someone died, the game crashed for that person. Match ID: 24771377.
Never before I crashed playing Deadlock.

No Paradox in that match, so that immediately disproves my theory that Paradox being nearby the dying person causes this

Yeah no idea, was one match until now and I could die to anyone, except paradox (assist was enough).
Maybe was really just destroying the Hero Orbs.

Is the problem still occuring or did the 4.3KB update fix anything?

On the main menu, click on "Watch", then in the top right, you can search by match ID
