My game client crashes when content update are pushed if I am logged into the game client. I have had this since day one.
I have done the following many times:
-verified the files
-deleted the install, and reinstalled
-reinstalled to 3 different drives
then, I drop back out to the steam client when it happens. Often the update is stalled at 0% and I have to wait 5 mins or so, then update happens and then all is good.
problem it this happens while in match a lot, and I often get penalized if I cant rejoin in time.
Its like a false positive on corruption error or something.
Also in the Steam Client and Deadlock application properties I have turn off "allow downloads during gameplay", "pause background downloads", "check for updates on startup" . Seems to be I am getting updates anyways.
