When I play, usually after a period of 5 or so minutes, my game begins to lag really badly, with 1-2 second mini freezes that look almost like ping issues (everyone is running in place, input lag, etc), but my ping is totally fine. After doing a bit of digging, in the console my game is showing that it can not keep up with the server tickrate, and instead is just dumping all the ticks on me in short little bursts, which is leading to my huge lag spikes.
I was wondering if this is a known issue and if there is a fix, or if my computer/internet is really just THAT bad; which I don't think is the issue as my computer works fine with every other game I play on the regular. (Minecraft, Valorant, League)
Fixes I have tried:
- Restarting Game
- Restarting Computer
- Updating Drivers
- Forgetting and Reconnecting to my Internet
- Restarting my router
- Verifying the integrity of the game's files
- Reinstalling the game
- Reinstalling Steam
