Froze mid game, some functions still working, others not.

I suddenly froze mid game, I thought it was an internet issue so I quickly disconnected and reconnected to my WiFi. I was still frozen mid game, could move my mouse and heard live sounds. The kill feed worked aswell. But I couldn't move or do anything besides moving around my mouse and sending messages. My mic was permanently showing that I would be talking, even though I wasn't pressing the push to talk button. I didn't hear or see any team messages, don't know if they were just quiet maybe.
(I tried pressing every button on my keyboard, only tab, chat, typing in chat, chat wheel and opening the shop worked.)

Happened to me today. Loose ethernet cable got disconnected and instead of being disconnected from the match, my screen froze. I put it back in after 5 seconds but the screen was still stuck like that. It happened while on a zipline and I heard myself being killed. Game continued but I was still stuck with the frozen image on the zipline. Had to abandon the game.
