Friends have yet to receive invite

Hi! So I sent quite a few of my friends invites into Deadlock and the vast majority of them got in within 2-4 hours of me doing so however two of my friends have yet to be picked. Neither of them have any bad rapport on their steam and their accounts are relatively old. One of them tried to get an invite from someone else a few days ago and still nothing, even with me inviting them as well. Are they simply not gonna get one period or is it something else?

Same with one of my friends. Has like a 12 year old account with no bans etc and still cant get an invite. Me and 3 others have all invited him. Really stupid process by valve, hope they pull their heads out.

my friends ex rejected the deadlock invite i sent him on august 15th, with permission and told no one. he never had the chance to accept.

can you anyone put me in contact with someone who can help?
