Friend invite didn't work

I invited a friend, he received the invitation email but when clicking the link, it redirects him to a Steam "betas" section that is empty, and the game is not in his library
Any idea what to do? I can't invite him again, as it says he is already invited.

Contacted Steam support, they said they dont have a clue about anything with a copypasted response
Any help?

Steam has flat out refused to help three times now

He needs to open the invite via email and accept it. Make sure that he's logged into Steam on his browser. The screen should look something like

"Steel_Thunder" has invited you to help test Deadlock: ACCEPT / DECLINE

I too have had this same issue and don't know how to get into the beta with my invite link
