fps tanks when using dual input

dual input meaning joystick to control the movement of the character and then keyboard/mouse for everything else like normal

when using dual input the game plays how you would expect, but the UI switches between showing the controller input hints under the abilities and showing keyboard hints whenever any keyboard input is sent.
every time this switch is made the game stutters tremendously and FPS tanks

a cvar to force one or the other would be nice, or some way to avoid steam input being on entirely and just allow joystick input directly
 
A partial fix is in the pipe to reduce the amount of flickering. We won't switch to keyboard glyphs if any controller buttons are currently pressed, or if the movement stick is throw.

Mentioned elsewhere but I'll add a Glyph locking option: [ Auto | Keyboard + Mouse | Gamepad ] (Where auto is last button pressed, or stick fully thrown).
