Forced to use Vulkan; can't actually load into a match if I use Vulkan

Title is the most basic summary I can give. I've been trying since yesterday to launch the game, and found that the .exe will not launch unless I put "-vulkan" in the launch options. I wouldn't have much of an issue with this as is, since when I force Vulkan I'm then able to run around in the lobby like normal. However, when I actually connect to any match, the game will immediately crash to desktop with no error message. The game doesn't let me choose Directx11 either, it's made it clear that Vulkan is what it wants.

My gpu doesn't seem to be overheating, my ram is 32gb so it really shouldn't be my hardware causing this issue, unless there's something critical I'm missing.

I've uninstalled the game, deleted the folder and all its data and reinstalled, which didn't help. Verifying the game files didn't do anything either.

I've also reinstalled my Microsoft C++, checked for any driver updates, nothing seems to touch this issue at all.

I'm truly unsure what to do, I've tried what feels like everything. Any help is appreciated. I've played this game for 740 hours and I REALLY don't want to be locked out of it </333

Here's the specific info for my system.
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7600x 6-Core Processor 4.69 GHz
Installed RAM: 32 GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon Graphics
System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I'm having the same issue, and I've tried to troubeshoot it using the same methods as you.

If I don't put -vulkan in launch options, I can't play. And if I do put it in, I can't load into a match. Another thing I've noticed is that when I can launch the game, "pre-loading map and shaders" always says "completed 0 of 0" while I'm in the hideout. I can go into the sandbox, but not explore NYC or any normal match.

Here's what I've tried:
- Updating C++ like OP
- deleting "video.txt" in my CFG folder
- deleting my entire CFG folder and verifying game files
- reinstalling, on multiple different drives too
- verifying game files
- updating my graphics drivers

Here are my specs:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6 core (same as OP)
- GIGABYTE B650M motherboard
- 32gb ram
- Radeon RX 480
- Windows 11
