Im not sure if this should count as a bug, maybe its intended, but its not possible to achieve in any other way than doing this:
bind "MWHEELUP" "+in_mantle"
bind "MWHEELDOWN" "+duck"
and you can airdash all the time as long as you have enough stamina. It allows to fly some weird distances if you have superior stamina. You can do it slower to travel even more.
