Flash Bang Grenade - Weapon Item
3000 soul cost

+1 Stamina

Active - 40 second cooldown
Toss a flashbang grenade forward that bounces once off a surface that blinds and makes ears ring for a second. Additionally it increases the current cooldowns of hit enemies by 10% of total ability cooldown (IE, ability currently on cooldown has total cooldown of 100 seconds, it adds 10 seconds to the cooldown counter)

Not to be crude but I think I would hate that. It's one thing to impair the character but to actually flash bang the player—blotching their screen with whtie and sending a high pitch noise into their ear—would not be fun. Maybe a black out grenade could function similarly, like reducing the visual distance of the player view, making what's beyond a short distance hidden in blackness, basically blinding them beyond the immediate. Still, personally, I would not like abilities that reduce visual clarity let alone one that assaults the senses. Also the game already has a stun

Reducing visual distance would also work, I suggested only about a second of total sense impairment as I didn't want it to be like counter strike or whatever but still keep it flavorful, but to compensate added the other effect as that could also feel impactful while also being unique.

One thing you guys are forgetting, that this is a third person game. A flash bang is extremely and unpleasantly disorientating in third person as you lose sight of your character, your point of orientation—if a flash bang were to be it should not cover your character. Flashbangs are often reserved for games where ones senses are the core function of play, where concepts like prefire, corner peaking, and holding angles are relevant. This is not really so here. I've said my piece but I just want to suggest you try to think of any third person games that have flashbangs in them.

I get where your coming from. What if you can still see ur character but your visibility range lowered to 5m and HUD disappears. + mute ur volume.

I want this item to supplementary when Leaping to cast Singularity for example.

Once an enemy spots you its kinda hard to initiate. so I'm looking for a way.... smoke grenade instead maybe?
