I have been trying to launch the game, but I get errors whenever I do. I heard this might have something to do with the new anticheat, so I am hesitant to try to join any servers at the moment. I have never used external Deadlock cheats nor do I ever plan to, but playing the game without the anticheat files sounds like a bad idea.
It does not matter if I click OK or Cancel on the errors; the results are the same. I have tried to verify the integrity of the game files and even reinstalling the game, but neither helped.
- I try to launch game via Steam. Steam tells me the cloud is out of date. That is weird considering I currently only have the game installed on one device and the library page says they are up to date, but I click play anyways. (I have tried installing it once on a laptop, but that was weeks ago and has long since been uninstalled).
- Error 1.
- Error 2.
- Despite errors, game launches but does not go past Valve splash screen.
- Error 3.
- Error 4.
- Error 5.
- Error 6.
- Error 7.
- Error 8.
- Error 9.
- Error 10.
- Deadlock progresses to the title screen, but tells me the network is offline. (I am in the NA region, the servers should be up at the time I tried to play.)
- A few seconds later, the notification is gone.
