When someone plays out of their mind and we still lose, it would be nice to commend.

Go to their steam profile and give them a +rep! I always appreciate it, and I do it for my fellow teammates.
Click on their username in the results page to find their Steam profile.
EDIT: Now that I think of it, a Commends thing would be cool as a profile feature, to see how many Commends a user has gotten, and from who.

This sounds fun. An endorsement system will be a nice addition to the game. You could endorse not only your team, but the enemy team as well.

sadly i can't aim/track for crap so i can't do ivy's rapid-fire gun. course she's a support but then i just get farmed early-midgame

I was about to suggest this as well! I think this would be a great addition. I have played so many rounds where I wanted to commend people for either being nice, understanding or simply good at the game.
I dont want people screaming to commend them in the end of the game, also if it just cosmetic its pointless, if its bound into "honor" system that might get you banned as with league, better without it.
