Failed To Join Discord

I tried joining the Discord by clicking the button at the bottom right of the main menu but the game crashed. I rebooted the game and the join Discord button was now missing. Is it still possible for me to join?

FYI I replied to the original email invitation, and they were able to provide me with another Discord invite link.
