Ethereal shift consumes Majestic leap

A few times in matches I would use Ethereal shift and spam Majestic leap to get out but a number of times it would consume the item and do the animation but keep me in the same place.
I think it has more to do with doing it at the end of Ethereal shift as it ends because I was not able to replicate it when canceling it and spamming Majestic leap.
