This error starting popping up for me like a week ago out of nowhere and everything I've read online has failed to fix it.

Here's what hasn't worked:
- I have restarted the game
- I have restarted Steam
- I have verified the integrity of the files
- I have reinstalled the game
- I put Steam on the beta branch
- I have signed in and out of steam
- I have looked for steam.cfg in my Steam files, it does not exist
- I have changed my router from IPv6 to IPv4
- I have reset my firewall
- I am not using a VPN, so its not a VPN issue
- I have tried changing the server region
- There is no VAC on my account

I just miss playing the game man :/

Have you reset your network firewall? or tried disabling it. Fixed it for me personally, but now i'm fully stuck on servers that aren't my own. At least i'm able to play now though, game seems to think im in NA when im EU west

Likely it's a server side issue thats stopping people from reaching the datacenters if you l;ook at my thread on the same issue, not our faults at all but still no dev response

Weird, this seems to be part of the issue. I followed what dropout said in the thread "Got matchmaking working with downloading and using VPN, starting a custom match with VPN enabled, leaving, but not abandoning the match and then turning off VPN and reconnecting. Now regular matchmaking works without the need of vpn completely... Weird" and it ended up giving me this error:

When going straight into a game it didn't let me fully join, but it did give an abandon match option, so I assume that the lobby didn't go through.
I guess I'll have to talk to my apartment building manager tomorrow to see if they can help fix it, but it is really annoying that it only started happening with this game out of nowhere.

Yeah I'm pretty sure there was a update that has effected a small amount of people for some reason. EU people have their network region stuck in NA, NA people have their network region stuck in EU. I really don't think any of it is any fault of our own but the devs arent stepping up to respond to an issue that has been going on for 3 months now.

I had a few different errors about not being able to reach any datacenters at all, which is odd because how do you go from 10 ping on EU to not being able to reach literally any server in the world, checked here and there were already about 20 other posts about it.

I think unfortunately it's something we have to wait out for now, I cant play with any of my EU friends for the moment because the bug also makes cross-region queue times like 20 minutes long which shows me that it's not allowing me to join EU servers at all, even with the use of a VPN

edit : When you queue for a match (bot match or public) press F7 and look for "[Citadel Play Controller] Network Location" if its "ams=??" that is EU network location, if its "dfw2=??" that is NA. I'm currently stuck on dfw2 even though I have been playing this game on ams for the past 200 hours
